Your pet is the star here at Premier Pet Salon.
We give one-on-one attention to your pet while they are here, which is crucial for a good grooming experience.  The reserved time for your pet allows our groomers to spend every moment giving your pet the highest quality experience possible. This means that you get a superior cut and a better chance at catching any problems early like; ear infections, nail overgrowth, or any new lumps or bumps that a vet might need to check.  Regular grooming with the same groomer can help prevent a lot of these issues and we have the education and experience to know what to look for.

For the safety and comfort of your pet we do NOT kennel dry.  We fluff dry all of our clients - this means that we use hand blow dryers that allow us to fully dry your pet in a fraction of the time that it would take to kennel dry.  It allows us to remove all of the excess hair that builds up and it gives a better result for the finishing style and haircut.

 Our History

Established in 2008
I had been grooming for 6 years and was not really impressed with the grooming world and what it had to offer to clients. It became my mission to open a grooming salon that put pets' first.  I wanted this grooming salon to have the pets comfort and safety being the utmost important .  I saw no reason for dogs to sit and wiat 4 or more hours to get groomed.  So I decided to start a grooming salon that I would want to bring my own dog to, and to treat every dog like it was my own.  It took me a full year to find a place that was acceptable.  Then I built a salon just for pets, with  straight through-service (most dogs take about a hour and a half) and while they are here they are the star of the show, I treat every pet like they are a part of my family.  It really makes me feel good to see a dog run around after being groomed because they know they look good and that they feel great.

Meet Your Groomers

I have always loved dogs.  When I was young I used to go and ask my neighbors if I could brush their dogs. So it was only natural for it to evolve into grooming later on.  I completed a grooming course at The Paragon School of Pet Grooming in Michigan.  There they taught me everything I needed to know to groom any style from show standard to finding out what will work best for both pets and their parents.  I started my grooming career at a Pet Smart (I knew there had to be a better way) so I  moved on to Bloomington Vet Hospital and groomed there for 5 years.  I've also done a few years of mobile grooming.  That's when I decided to combine my ideas for a Salon and the speed of Mobile grooming into Premier Pet Salon.  I have been grooming since 2001 and specialize in grooming dogs that other groomers will not.  I have found that if you take the time to figure out what a pet needs that then they will open up and these pets that had formerly been "ungroomable" become fantastic grooming clients.
I look forward to meeting both you and your pet and welcome any questions you may have.
